(Italian edition) featured several
of the above artists in an article about
this
museum and menstruation in 2003. The
newspaper Corriere della Sera (Io Donna
magazine) (Milan, Italy) and the magazine

My name is Alexandra Steiner and
I'm an Austrian artist. I had my
"initiation"
in Guatemala where I was called on
my path to follow the ANIMA MUNDI,
the
female principle of the universe.
Since then I have been searching
for HER
traces in all cultures and
religions, digging out
representations of the
Goddess, of Mother Earth herself
in each and everything using my
menstruation
blood and earth pigments from
around the planet. I feel honoured
to tell
the people HERstories and to
contribute to a re-balancing
between male/female
by doing "moon art".
