Pursettes menstrual tampon, puberty & menarche booklet, late 1950s?,
U.S.A.
Pursettes, a tampon with a lubricated tip,
and no longer produced, made this booklet for teenage girls, possibly in
the late 1950s or early 1960.
The Tambrands research library kindly gave it to MUM.

Below: Back (to the left of the staples)
& front covers. Somebody at Tambrands, the company
that made Tampax, typed the
information on the front cover, probably showing where an ad for
this booklet appeared.
The closed book measures 4 7/8" x 6 7/8" (about 12.4 x 17.4 cm).
