See a 3-D Dr White's ad,
an ad contest
for Dr White's and wearing Dr White's with a
thong. And a penis-tampon ad
(they finally yielded to the temptation).

The Museum of Menstruation and
Women's Health
Sani-Scants,
Kleinert's
Ad, 1950s?, black and
white
Unknown magazine, U.S.A.
Menstruation, Kleinert's, ad,
panties, sanitary, pad, napkin,
Sani-Scants, menstrual hygiene,
history, advertising, cat, dog
Is this an
adperson's joke?
Kleinert's is selling
special underpants to hold
a menstrual pad to replace
the mostly hated sanitary
napkin belt,
which often allows the pad
to shift and exude
socially unacceptable odor.
The dog
next to the NO PARKING
sign at bottom seems to be
wearing something around
its waist? OMG! Is it a
belt - a sanitary napkin
belt?! And is the
leash snarled around the
post impeding her and her
boss's movement? Like, yes.
To the, er, cat. A
soft, white, clean cat, a
kitten. Her owner holds it
above the dirty ground
where the dog is twisted
up and way above her
waist, close to her head
where her thinking is
done. And where her nose
is. (I like cats.
Cats are historically
associated with women's
intimate areas. )
Cat="daintiness" (I hate
that word) as well as
Kleinert's excellent
panties. Light and
easy to carry (wear).
Dog=well, a dog's life
down below.
My time in grad school
puzzling out German
literature was not
completely wasted!

The ad occupies
the outer half of a 10 x 13 1/2"
(25.4 x 34.3 cm) page
in the unknown magazine.

Kitten exuding no odor, soft,
purring. No, wait, Kleinert's
Sani-Scants probably were
soundless, a great advantage.

You can see I did not add the
belt. It might absorb secretions
when the poodle is in heat but
serves the ad's pupose.
