The Museum of Menstruation and Women's Health

A member of the Johns Hopkins University laboratory that developed the Instead menstrual cup made and wore this Halloween costume (near left) in 1995. She presented it to MUM in a ceremony at the museum attended by many of her laboratory co-workers.

Shoes embellished with menstrual tampons complete the outfit.

Beth Littleford of Comedy Central TV wanted to wear this costume during her interview of the MUM director in the museum for the "The Daily Show" in December 1996 (read about it; scroll about 1/3 down the page).

Look at the promotional dress (photos here) made of Instead menstrual cups that the Ultrafem corporation sent this museum.
