Testamp fertility test tampon and
Menstro-Rhythm guide

"approved rhythm methods,"
1959
M-R Guide Co., Box 457, Detroit 31, Michigan, U.S.A.

Introduction.

See the early birth control pill Enovid-e,  contraceptive sponges, and Little Doozee, a contraceptive douche.

Below: An overview of the instructions side of the piece of paper, which was folded twice and
wrapped around the tampon.
The paper measures 10 x 10" (25.4 x 25.4 cm).

The other side is a calendar, below.
Below: The text, enlarged.
Below: After wading through this and the instructions above I'd bet some women said,
"Forget it! Might as well have a kid."

Below: The other side of the piece of paper: the calendar. Top text: Note that their doctor, "him," is male.

And look, the company does not put "C" in any box in the sample month (July, at top)
while using all the other letters. "C" means "intimate relations" - sexual intercourse.

Maybe that would have been sooo indelicate?

Gee, it's only what the whole thing's about.

contraceptive sponges, and Little Doozee, a contraceptive douche.
