Anshin (and Cameo & Ortex
Gold) origami menstrual tampon
(Japan, 1977)
In 1997 Tambrands gave
the box to this museum as part
of an amazing
gift of 450 boxes of
tampons dating to the founding
of the second Tampax company,
1936, plus hundreds of other
items.

Below: No
sense in idly sitting on a toilet
trying to hide the crackling of
the tampon paper. Make your brain
work! You'll thank this tampon
when you're 70 and everyone's mind
is deteriorating but yours.
