"New" is not quite the word to describe the mesh covering since the company had
used a similar covering in its earlier tampons Moderne Woman, fax & Nunap.

"Change Kotams as often as your individual needs require it." After the toxic shock disasters
of the late 1970s and early 1980s the industry drastically modified its directions for the amount of
time to leave tampons in the vagina.
